BoardRoom Games is built around playing games in the workplace. Our games would be based around Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision-making and Self-organisation to varying degrees depending on the desired outcomes. We believe games are a fantastic learning environment and can be very enjoyable. The higher order skills we build our games around are valuable for the individuals both in and out of the work place. We would begin with our custom designed game, get everybody playing it quickly and from there adapt, constrain and challenge (in other words coach) the players to get the maximum out of the game. In this way we extract as much value and enjoyment out of the game as we possibly can for our players. The experience would be fun and challenging, The results would be improvement in players’ capabilities, insights into the character, skills and relationships between the players and happier people who are closer to having their safety, social esteem and self actualisation needs met.
These in turn will result in a more productive and happier work environment.
Today be shall be exploring the skill of Creativity, with the aim of achieving positive outcomes in different ways through our games. We look forward to you joining us at ICEDAY.
