Being a part of something brings with it strong emotional benefits. Connecting and forming lasting bonds with our colleagues and peers is empowering and creative. As humans we are subconsciously directed by feelings of who is ‘us’ and who is ‘them’. This is tribal conformity...powerful!
But overdoing tribal conformity can have a big downside because when we are surrounded by people who agree with us, our views grow more unshakable and extreme. We tend to de-legitimize those who are different. As can be seen around the globe today!
So, let’s not do that. At ICE we want to create a wide ranging, fun and friendly community of In-house Corporate Event professionals from as wide a selection of sectors as possible plus ICEMENTORS from all aspects of Corporate Event creation and delivery. Sharing experiences, stories and feelings to help energise and inspire.
