HERE’S WHAT I KNOW AND WHAT I DID

Today, more than ever, it’s frighteningly easy to become overwhelmed with information, opinions and ideas. So much so that we often get side tracked and distracted from our overarching event brief. And then  there’s also the danger of embracing disruption for the wrong reasons instead of using it as an effective tool.

At ICEDAY, this year, we have a fantastic spread of speakers and participants telling us about what they know and how they did what they did.

From our keynote Katherine McCartney -- Principle of PDW, Inc. and the former Producer of TED Conferences.

 - Principle of PDW, Inc. and the former Producer of TED Conferences, through to our award winning

In-House Corporate Event teams outlining their event challenges and successes, ICEDAY is your opportunity to share with your peers what you all know, did and want to do.

Which global event can claim to have been instrumental in completely changing the way we communicate from the stage and then network in between sessions?  Round of applause for TED...Ideas worth spreading.

Now, who has been responsible leading and producing TED’s Conferences?

Katherine McCartney -- Principle of PDW, Inc. and the former Producer of TED Conferences.

And...who is our Keynote speaker at this year’s ICEDAY conference? Yep you’ve guessed it.

Katherine will share the story of the growth and evolution of the conference over a span of 18 years, and what she learned along the way as well as thoughts about life and life choices.

‘The challenge, of course, is coming up with new innovative ideas, and continually raising the bar.  Our goal was always to be leading edge.  Overall, the logistical component in many ways has gotten easier because of our experience, commitment, and understanding of the audience.  We worked very hard at this.’
